David Breen

David Breen joined Liverpool FC as first-team rehabilitation physiotherapist in November 2024.

The Irishman is a former hurler who captained the Limerick senior hurling team in 2012 and was also part of All-Ireland Club Championship success in the sport with his club, Na Piarsaigh, in 2016.

He linked up with Arne Slot's backroom staff at the AXA Training Centre after a similar role as head of rehabilitation at rugby union outfit Harlequins.

Breen's career path had previously involved a range of physiotherapy positions across clubs in both football and rugby, including Leinster, Wasps, Manchester City and Munster.

Since February 2024, he has also served as a physiotherapist for the Republic of Ireland men's national side.
